Create Plan Items
Use Fund Manager to create plan items for a learner.
Create plan items as follows:

On ebs: ontrack Hub, go to Fund Manager > Plan Items and then select .

Select the Funding year, such as 32 (2025 - 2026) and the Fund type, such as Bursary.

Complete the sections as defined in the table Plan item details.
Plan item details Section Field Notes Details
Type
The type of support for the learner, such as Transport, Accommodation, and so on.
Recurrence pattern
The recurrence of the plan item, such as Once, Daily, Weekly, and so on.
Cost £
The unit cost for the plan item such as £25.00.
Quantity
The quantity of the plan item such as 1.

Start date
The start date of the plan item such as 20/3/2025.
End date
The end date of the plan item such as 25/3/2025.
Adjustment amount £
The adjustment amount such as 50.00. Note that you can use a minus (-) to add a negative adjustment.
Adjustment reason
The reason for the adjustment.

Search for the learners using the search options. For example, to find learners by First name, Surname, or Person code. Note that you can also select Show filter options to use additional criteria, such as Date of birth, Age, Course code, and so on. After applying the relevant search options, select .

You can then Select all the learners found or select individual learners. Then, select .

Select to review the selections and if necessary, update the selections. Then, you can the plan items.

After creating the plan item you can then manage the plan item by selecting the vertical ellipses and take the following actions:

View or edit plan item

Add a child delivered plan item

Duplicate plan item

Delete plan item
You can manage multiple plan items on the grid by selecting Enable editable grid. For example, to change the assessment coordinator for multiple learners. You can also show delivered plan items by selecting Include Delivered.
